IDK not sure it will leak. The O Ring should seal it up. I would not put JB Weld on that.. I would say as long as its not to jagged or going to rip the o ring you should give it a go.

ok thanks... i wish i had a better picture.... but i think i should be ok it isnt to jagged and theres no way it would rip to O-ring... but my girlfriends dad welds but he doest have an aluminum welder... i culd always just take it to a machine shop and get a quote.... also for $300 i couldnt go wrong it only has 35K on it.... mine is SHOT!

Not sure what you would weld in there and get it perfect. I would let it go. If its not sharp then i would put it in. Drive it slow around the block and see how it performs.

looks like some of you have never had to fix anything...you fill the cracked area with the weld and grind it down to the shape you want it. convertional welding works but the jb weld is easier and less expensive to work with. sometime you have to fix stuff to save money...thats why you got it cheap right? gotta make due with what you have.

How many miles did you get out of the stocker and what caused it to go out.

Yah well for us that have fixed many things on the cheap.. You learn when and when not to use JB weld. For me this would be one of those situations..

Again I would not worry about this. I would just put it in the car.. Its before the O Ring so it will seal..
