Bov ?

I was wondering if I could benifit from an aftermarket bov? I am currently on the stock one and am running 23psi of boost. Is there any pros or cons using the stock bov? any help appreciated.

the stock ix bov is known to hold boost well upto 25 psi, past then, some of them tend to leak, so at ur stage, u should be fine!

save ur money toward a ported tb and in manni. gl!

i just looked at your mods and have to change my opinion...for what all you have and the turbo you got you should go with a tial BOV man...i wouldnt trust the stock one you have with how much power your throwing down man...

Don't count on that, I bought a IX DV/BOV and it didn't hold 23psi, also stock IX bov has partial surge at partial throttle, I've heard it on 2 evo IX.

Are you planning on going VTA?? or recirculate again?? It will make a big difference since you're running stock ecu if you go VTA like a Tial.. If you are looking to go more than 25psi as noted above, then would be recommended to get a better BOV.. Im not going to mention which ones.. Just do a search and you'll see plenty of recommendations..
