Here is the Mil.Spec thread with the bolt on cats https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...available.html I havent ordered the piece yet but i can tell you customer service is great and nothing but good reviews. Somewhere in their thread theres a comparison to a test pipe and this cat only loses 5Hp and 11tq on peak boost compared to the test pipes.

Not necessarily. If they are OBD 2 and/or compliant, such as magna flow, they are legal.

Yeah but that is just keeping the ECU from reading the bad exhaust gases. Once the inspector puts the sensor in your tailpipe, you're screwed.
