This might have just killed DG motors. Hopefully for their sake, I hope they fired the tech that worked on this car.

what's up with all the rust? car looks aged badly, motor and engine bay needs to be completely re-done/cleaned/painted IMO. Alot of $$$ in that motor to look and perform like that.

well wow is all i can say.I wouldnt of accepted my car that way.perhaps there was poor planing as far as sourcing parts to complete install still no excuse.Problem with most evo owners is that they are not wrenchers and i guess they dont know whats right or wrong.Thats why i do everything on my car and been in the performance thing for a long long time.

Only have one thing to add and thats the role of the devils advocate:

There are 2 sides to every story and while we see this side we dont know everything. Before everyone jumps on the DG is dead bandwagon its fair to give them time to make a post. This guy was happy with the car a few months ago remember.

I have known Charlie for a long time as well, before he met Chad in fact so what years? This is going to affect everyone that works out of that shop, whether its tuning, building, whatever. Being a little more reserved till we have the whole story benefits them too.

TeeJays car looks PRIMO, so maybe something happened in the time it left until the time it got to CBRD.

Anyway, give em a chance to say something back before you judge them too severe.

They are scary pics thats for sure...this type of work should NEVER leave any type of shop. I just don't see how a shop would ever let a car leave like that knowing it is hacked together. I honestly don't know how they are ever going to defend themselves on this one. Look forward to hearing it though.

Now your just ragging on the guys car. That has nothing to do with the quality (or lack of) of work that came from the shop. I'm sure a lot of cars in the northern states are corroded do to the salt on the roads. Your comment was unnecessary.

+1

I'm not making any judgments on said shop until I hear what actions are taken to prevent this from ever happening again. I'm anticipating on reading the rebuttal from the DG Motorsports.

I don't know how DG Motors hasn't seen this thread yet...My car will never come close to DG's shop no matter what they say after seeing this...The 1 thing I don't understand is how Charlie would tune & let a car leave in such poor condition as this...Charlie is a good guy, like many other people have said in this thread, he was my roommate for a little while too...I am very interested to see what DG says after finally seeing this thread...

If anyone has plans to go to DG to have their car tuned by Charlie, DO NOT WORRY. He is a great tuner, and an awesome guy to work with. I know him personally and I will vouch for him. I would not tell anyone to go to a tuner that I did not trust. Charlie is definitely one of those tuners.

You will not be disappointed!!!

What about the guy that taught him? lol.

Charlie has been a good friend for a long time, like since january of 2007 him and I have been buddies as I recall.
