Honestly, I think both guys have decent products. If they would both stick to promoting their individual products and quit taking stabs (and yes, this thread started with a stab) at each other, these boards would be a helluva lot more fun to read.
Agreed! Its time to focus on the cars

Thanks - I'm done puching for now though - I am way too busy getting my new Ferrea valve equiped head together.

Let me tell you all about some serious stuff

My new Ferrea valve train is 1 mm bigger per valve and actually wieghs less than the stock units

Also - Ferrea shims, springs, retainers and keepers

Ferrea makes the best valve products in the world and I am pleased to have them as a sponsor

All put together with my new Stage 5 head porting job

This all should be good for at least 25 whp more than my already extreme past stage 5 head - with some new improvements added in

If anyone is interested in this kind of set up - I will be offering these on a per order basis

Next week I should be headed to the track and ready to finish off the year of racing with some very crazy times to cement my place at the top of the heap till next spring

I have only one thing to say:

Al has the customer service and answers his PMs

I was all signed up for the dyno day with Vishnu.
I was unable to reach Vishnu by any means so I decided it was better to have the support to back up the product.

Sometimes, their bickering proves to be quite entertaining. For instance, I was just waiting for Shiv to close the 1/4" smackdown gap and unleash the destructive power of Shiva upon Al in the XFlash thread. Unfortunately (or otherwise depending on your perspective), that never happened.

IMHO, this is all akin to a schoolyard brawl of sorts, albeit with more spectators. And sometimes, verbal fisticuffs are more engrossing than physical.

These heads would take about 10 days to deliver - core charge of $1,000 or send in the new head up front

We use one of the best machine shops on the east coast for racing engines to do all the valve and porting work so the quality is 1st rate all the way around

Actually the price is going to be $2800 for the entire head delivered - with a suitable core returned OR $3800 outright with a brand new Evo head, new guides and seals

Also - we recomend JUN 272 cams for those on a stand alone or the Jun 264 on the street and those can be obtained through our friendly JUN vendor on this forum

i guess some gear heads like to do the smack down 1/4 MILE at a time - and others work 1/4" at time (sorry couldn't resist)
