hks super sequential

is the hks super sequential blow off valve a good blow off valve or not? because my no it all friend says that its horrible nd that im leaking boost. im pushin 18psi nd its holds up to 25 or 30 pounds i believe...

Any BOV that vents to atmosphere is not good for our MAF based cars.

I would recommend a EVO IX DV. If you wanna here the shooosh sound of a BOV, just get an open intake filter. Even with the stock DV and just an open intake, youll hear a lot of pooling and blowing off.

And the only way to know if your leaking boost is to do a proper boost leak test. There a write up in the how-to section.

I have one with no probs the vta isnt bad as it only opens at 8+psi

I am running the super sequential vta and the only thing I noticed was if you don't go into boost you will experience minimal compressor surge.

Sure you can run one some cars buck, idle for crap, and stall others don't. Still the fact remains that on throttle lift your car goes rich as it's releasing metered air.

My IX DV holds 30psi on a boost leak test so
