Intake Pipe Question

I'm not sure if I should get something like a JM Fab style hard pipe or a Samco silicone rubber style hose.

I'm leaning towards the Samco one since it can probalby keep engine bay temps out better then a regular metal one. But has anyone ever had the Samco one ever collapse under vacuum?

You wont colapse the rubber intakes from Samco or FP. Plus they'll likely play nicer with you Maf sensor

I have the Samco intake pipe and it's great, looks good too. I've heard rumors about intake pipes collapsing, but the Samco pipe is pretty thick rubber so I doubt you could.
