hey i just recently bought an invidia exhaust manifold for my evo. found out that after putting it on that my upper radiator hose is rubbing on the manifold. ive got some aluminum foil in between the two right now to help stop the hose from melting but its starting to mess up my manifold and the heat is slowly ruining the hose.

i want to get a new radiator but i dont know if i will just run into the same problems or not. i saw that CBRD makes a radiator with an offset on the upper hose but if i could get a koyo radiator for a cheaper price i would like to go that route.

does anyone know if i get the koyo radiator if i will run into the same issues as i am now? is there anything else i can do to fix the problem other than getting the CBRD radiator? if i could save 200 dollars or so i would love to do that haha.

look for an evo 6 radiator/upper hose from mishimoto or something if you want to save some money over the cbrd. The upper hose is offset at the top so you won't have that issue.

 

You definitely won't be disappointed with the CBRD Radiator. They are top of the line. I would not take the risk and go with the CBRD.

 

so the evo 6 mishimoto will work fine with my 8? will it still provide good/increased cooling? which fan would you recommend to get with this?
