Stock EVO FMIC

Ok, I am also on the DSM Tuners Message Boards. I am wondering how many of you here have replaced the FMIC for performance gains. Also, does anyone know where I can find tech data, such as... colling efficiency, pressure drops across the cor and pros-vs-cons of this FMIC design? What kind of ET's are within the realm of this FMIC before it needs to be replaced with a more efficient one? I can get one brand new for a cheap price and would be interested in finding out if it is worth the couple hundred dollars.

Thanks.

You can buy mine, the EVO stock I/C can effectively handle 400HP for sure. I bet it can handle way more than that, but there are better designs for high HP.

I am in the R&D stages right now but thanks for the offer. Actually I saw, you had yours for sale. That's why I put this post. I was having this discussion on the DSM board and when I saw your FMIC was avail, it reminded me about it. Right now I am more interested in the flow data and tech info. Thanks for the input.

Should we place a cardboard box in front of the intercooler during the winter to prevent salt in the intercooler damaging it or it doesnt matter?

Or you could do what people that have nice sportscars (ie. Corvettes, Porches, whatever) do... BUY A WINTER BEATER, or just a reg type car to drive daily. Maybe a pick-up or suv with 4wd would work too.

Just a thought
