If I am not wrong, I think the stage 3 on pump gas and 20 psi ran a 12.09@115.09 and the dyno #'s of the 380HP is the stage 4 on race gas. Am I correct about that Dave. I dont remember you ever taking the stage 4 to the track. All of this is done with an awsome clutch also. I have through stage 2 and my clutch is fine, but I have not slipped or smoked my clutch. Good job On the EVO 8. You must love that car. It responds so well to all of the mods that you have given it. 11.5@120 is around the corner, but who cares because we would all love to be where the car is at right now!!!

I have to say great times, Do you feel the turbo is maxxed out? I think that is about all the power I need. Also for emissions will the car pass if I pull out the AEM and put the stock computer in?

Speed density uses a MAP sensor (pressure sensor) to determine load. The AEM has provisions for the temp. sensor and atmospheric pressure sensors to allow for automatic adjustment depending on temp and altitude. This is what all of the top programamble ECUs use. I don't know of any ECU that compensaTes for humidity. The AEM can also use the MAF.

I said awesome clutch, I should have said awesome aftermarket clutch. Dont expect to duplicate these times without one, since I am sure it has over 400WHP by now.

AWESOME JOB!

Without doing the math, what sort of revs & gear is Tym turning through the lights?

It also nice for you to confirm that the drivability aspect is better than the stock ecu. I had read somebodies absurd post claiming that the aem ecu wont provide the drivability of the stock ecu!!!!!!!

Dave,

you truly are my hero!

I plan to pick up a 04' EVO in a few months and will head straight for your stage 4-5 mods after I break in my motor.

It's 11.5's on the stock turbo or Bust!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David and Tym - congratulations on an amazing run with a wonderful price-point for those of us wishing to do something similar!

Questions:

How's the stock clutch holding up??

Have you done the clutch line mod (removal of the restrictor) or the steel-braided clutch line upgrade?

I really like the results I'm seeing from you as well as your customer support.

One last question:

Do you guys have a decibel number on your exhaust? Like how loud is it? Curious to know if it's "street legal" (I think less-than or equal-to 95 decibles is street legal, right?

Thanks!
