No, its the brakes fluid. Clutch shares the same fluids, to bleed it you need to search in the how to section. My clutch is stuck in the ground also. I am guessing its due to a hydralic leak because i have a quartmaster clutch.

mine did that and it was not because of the slave cylinder, but because my throw out bearing was broken in half and part of it was stuck inside the pressure plate, check our ur TOB and see if its still intact, there is a small hole in the tranny case that lets you see inside there, just grab a flash light, lift the car and check it out.

i have the same problem bro i replaced my clutch put everything back in and i cant get any pressure at all. I tried bleeding it and barely any fluid comes out when i pump it. I took the slave cylinder off the line and the same thing so i dont think its that. It was fine before i changed the clutch. Could it be the clutch master cylinder thats bad?? i heard the piston gets stuck sometimes and if u bang it, it works.. i tried and nothing.....

Have you tried taking it to the shop? You think they'll know how to do it?

So all along. It was the master cylinder that did that?

Same thing happened to me. there is air in the clutch line. Look at the brake fluid reservoir, there is a separate chamber that the clutch draws fluid from. you have to fill the brake reservoir over the fill line and the brake fluid spills over into the clutch chamber. I used a vacuum pump and cracked the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder, made sure the fluid level stayed high enough in the reservoir, pulled fluid through until the only air that came through was what was leaking around the bleeder screw. Pulled the clutch peddle up, pumped it a few times, bled it a bit more and it was good.

You crack the bleeder screw with a wrench. I forgot if its 10mm or 11mm. It may be easier with two people to bleed the clutch.

1. Hook up a clear hose on the bleed nipple and put the other end in a bottle
2. Loosen the bleeder screw.
3.Push clutch all the way down. It will go down and not come back up.
4. Tighten bleeder screw
5. Use your hand and pull clutch pedal back up.

Repeat steps 1-5 until it the clutch can come up on its own.
