Evo 8 block with mivac head how to make this work ?

Well i came across a good deal on a evo 8 block so i picked it up, however i am going to be using a mivac head with the block. I have heard of people doing this before, they drill the block for the oil passages that the mivac head requires can anyone out there explain this process, I have done a hand full of searches and come up empty any help would be awesome thanks guys !

Try searching under "Mivec" and not Mivac. One search will net you useful info regarding the Mivec engine. The other search's results will only pull up a bunch of people who are proud of their vacuums.

its simple man. I have not personally done it but i did look into it. The mivec solenoid on the back of the ix head has an oil line running from it along the water pipe down to a lug a on the block. This needs to be drilled and tapped for an AN fitting then make a custom oil line to run up to the head with a banjo fitting to go back where the stock line was.
