Must be a custom turbine housing because last I heard was that precision didn't offer the 6262 in a divded setup...

If you can take the time to tell someone to search you can take the time to post the link you lazy ***.

LOL,

I dont recall where the housing came from, we had nothing to do with the parts ordered other than supplying the fmic and radiator..

the car made decent power, great spool, but fell off hard up top.. on boost.

I think it needs stiffer WG springs and some other things...

Thanks for being exceptionally helpful. I'm looking for a divided t4 housing for a 6262...

I'll give you a hint

It's something that's not helpful
It's something that thinks it's funny
It's something that no one else thinks is funny
It's something that should probably just be quiet unless it has something worthwhile to say.

Yes that something is you.

Shearer fabrication sells a divided turbine housing.

I'm starting to wonder if it's a std gt35r turbine wheel.

Shearer told me on the phone that he tried the divided housing for the 6262, but that it didn't work very well and he wasn't going to be selling them.

I have wondered if the 6262=6235=FS635?

Seems that an FS635 car I know makes the same power a 6262 car I know makes. I have reliable info that says the FS635 is a 6235 which means any off the shelf 35R housing should work.

...If that is in fact the case.

aaron,

i have seen this turbo make good power from other people, but it didnt blow my hair back on the car i did (i think because of some limitations on some small but important details... i guess that makes them big details ha)..

it came on pretty damn quick though..

wonder if the TS T4 housing USED with it was machined wrong... we've seen some turbine housings not machined properly where the turbine isn't sunk into the housing far enough so the gas path isn't aligned.

We made 766whp at 40psi on Luke's crazy motor with off the shelf S2s and an APM head. I seem to remember that Precision lost their Garrett distributorship and I have since wondered if the 6235 became the 6262 as some sort of legal complication.
