Just like the title says I'm just trying to find out the reliabilty of this turbo. Also let me know if you had it rebuilt.

 

10.5K miles, no rebuild, 34psi daily on E85. Ran 11.1 at 126.5mph and made 432hp/395tq on an awd dyno dynamics. Sweet turbo.

 

34PSI and only 126MPH? Should be in the 130's+

You can get that Trap on pump with a Red, Straight 93. Maybe poor shifting and a 6-speed? That would do it.

Yeah but an 11.1 is a great time, faster the ET lower the Trap speed as well. If he gets into the 10's I bet he is right on the money. Man a 11.1 is fast for a street car.

Now to wait for TRE to get that MR Final Drive option added.

 

I ran an 11.1@130mph. It had a 10 in it.

I've had two reds. 64mm and the 80mm... 64mm was on for about 6k miles and the 80mm was on for about 2-3k

No rebuilds... no problems.

A lot more goes into a build than just a turbo and boost pressure. Jim has a fairly basic setup with a Red on it. For his few mods though he is making great power!

 

I had the stock housing Red on for about 6k miles. Zero shaft play when we pulled it off. Now Kasey@MAP has it, so it's in good hands.

 

About 9k on my red so far. 37psi daily, trapped 133mph. Zero shaft play.

 

lol 0 miles on mine brand new still in the box now its back at fp and i have my fp black as of today lol. no rebuild required haaa

 

3 months, 5000+ miles, 29.5 PSI, E-85, DD, 470 WHP, 401 WTQ, Single 255 Pump with FIC 1250's @ 80%, time is in the sig, can't wait to upgrade to my Shep 5 speed! The 6 is shot, second, third, and fourth gears! That Red is a beast!
