I was just curious if anyone has noticed there evo eating up oil. And whats normal oil consuption. I did my first oil change @ 1500, now Im @ 2500. When I did the oil change the dip stick was at the top mark, now its in the middle @ only a 1000 miles, is that normal for this car.

 

Mine stays steady, no noticeable oil consumption. You might double check your dipstick readings. You want to let it drain back a while after you shut it down. Your oil consuption sound excessive.

 

the car will burn a small amount of oil, remember it's still breaking in.
