am i missing anything?

so im trying to figure out what mods i should go with after i install my winter mods...

current mods are in my sig...

i plan on getting (for winter):
kelford 272 cams
kiggly springs/retainers
spoolinup or sparktech cop
aem meth
grimmspeed ebcs
60k maintenance from MAPerformance
arp headstuds
mitsubishi or cometic headgasket
dynotuned somewhere...either AMS or MAPerformance...

should i get anything else for winter mods?

i plan on a turbo upgrade by fall-ish...meaning FP Red, Injectors, possibly ported and coated manifold...

Kelford 272 Cams are a great choice

springs and retainers are good.

Ditch the cop for now. (What is your power goal?) We have made over 500whp several times on stock ignition with NGK Copper Plugs.

aem meth is what we recommend.

60k service is smart. (Timing belt, Balance belt, Water pump)

arp head studs good, do arp rod bolts as well!

Stick with the stock head gasket, cometic is junk!

Tuning from both companies is great.

I don't see Fuel Pump and Injectors. With an FP Red I advise you to get precision

1K or 1200's with Buschur Twin Pumps (2 255lph fuel pumps)

Go with an FP Black over the Red IMO.

This should net you an easy 500whp with pump/alky on stock ecu.

thanks for the advice!!!
im going to do the COP just as a sort of safety net for my sparkplugs...its going to be a good investment from what i read online...

ill just looked into the arp rod bolts...and saw on a quick google search from highboost forums that installing these would be a pain and not really necessary...anyone else care to chime in on this?

ok so ill go with the OEM head gasket from mitsubishi...

i have a walbro 255 already...

for injectors i was gonna go with what you recommended...dont know what brand yet...

for the turbo ill look into a FP Red and Black comparison...i know for sure i dont want to get the green...

If you're replacing your headgasket, then get the ARPs. You cant reuse the stock bolts anyways.

thanks! I hope to be getting a sweet package price when Im ready to buy all of these parts...

a few more things to add to the list:
MAP Rev2 Exhaust Manifold
MAP Rev2 Intake Manifold + Coating
Mil.Spec 65mm Throttle Body
APS Twin Vent BOV

would the intake manifold and throttle body combo be a good setup?

also...Im thinking the JDM IX Diverter wont be sufficient anymore with this new setup I plan on running and Im thinkin of getting the APS Twin Vent BOV but i didnt see it on MAP's website...

APS is getting harder and harder to get, but we can certainly try to track one down for you when you're ready

Sounds like a good choice to me In regards to the intake manifold and TB, you will see gains with just about any setup with those additions, definitely worthwhile.

What's the point of the HG and studs? I'd rock the stock studs if there is no other reason to take them out; with a good tune they should last for a long long time. Save your money for other stuff.

Kelford 272's = win.
Kigly springs are overkill, GSC 5039 kit is like $200-ish and perfect for those cams ( I have this combo)
Skip the AEM meth kit and go with Aquamist, HFS-1 or HFS-6, way better system, way more reliable.

The above should free up enough $$ for some decent injectors. Get tuned with them on the stock turbo, and you'll be in better shape when it comes time to upgrade the snail. Do the Rev2 exhaust manifold whenever, awesome piece!

I'd push off the IM/TB until after the turbo upgrade. Def can't hurt though

How about a short shifter, maybe some beatrush rear diff bushings?

i just thought about the reason why...and i dont have one...i thought i was going to go all out...guess it can wait til the HG pop...

how high are you revving with the gsc springs?

im debating on the AEM or Aquamist kit now...but right now im leaning towards the AEM and getting another failsafe...
