fuel pump issues

i was driving home with my aircon turned off, then i decided to turn it on since it became hot. after i turned on my air con my fuel pump started making loud, weird, whining noises, it was real loud since people outside seemed to notice the sound. i immediately checked my gauges and saw that there was nothing wrong, the car was even running normal and strong as i did a short pull after i heard the noise but it came back, when i got home that whining noise was gone but i noticed my fuel pump (walbro 255 lph) not making that normal whining noise anymore.

idle and everything in the car is ok after i parked the car at home.

anybody experience this? or can anyone give me tips on what i can do or what may have caused this?

thanks in advance!! Merry Christmas to all!

dont have a definitive answer for u but i can say that my fuel pump makes a different noise for every different day of the week. I definetly get a louder whine/change in pitch when turning AC or heat on/off. Sometimes it whines so loud u can hear it outside the car, other times its silent. I think ur ok..u would most likely have drivability issues if ur pump failed

Walbro pumps are notorious for being loud. I actually replaced the first 255HP in this car since it was so loud and my 2nd has been far quieter than my 1st ever was.
