Poor performance with muffler delete pipe?
G-Tech for measuring HP?
Mine would give completely different readings on different days on one of my old DSMs. Some days, 250hp some days over 400hp.
I like how when the car was stock it said it was making 275hp and trapping at 104mph and then I take it to the track (you know, the only *true* way to measure performance) and it trapped 96mph.

Do you recommend resetting the ECU after I put the stock muffler back on?

For what it's worth, you can find this nugget of advice from Vishnu's website:
From http://www.vishnutuning.com/exhaust101.htm
"No ifs, ands, or buts." Sounds like Buschur's not the only tuner who thinks a muffler delete pipe can be a good thing.

Downstream of the turbine (aka the turboback exhaust), you want the least backpressure possible. No ifs, ands, or buts. Stick a Hoover on the tailpipe if you can.
Follow-up.
My car did make less power in stock form with the Buschur muffler delete pipe on. I attribute the power loss to a 3lb drop in boost. This may or may not be a situation unique to my car since others here have varying opinions, including David Buschur himself.
Anyway, since adding the MD pipe I've had the ECU reflashed by Al. He did a custom flash for me that I'm told was somewhere between a "stage rev" and "stage 0". The improvement with the flash was very noticeable because it eliminated the "dead spot" at the top of the rev band.
However, it didn't do much to restore my lost boost.
Just today, I installed a TurboXS MBC. This has made quite a difference! The car now pulls full boost very early and holds it rock stable to (and beyond) redline. No dead spots, no hesitation, just smooth and constant power.
The pipe sounds good on the car and I plan to keep it on even though I'm not certain that it did much more than reduce the weight of the car by 20 lbs. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Set your TurboXS "standard" mbc at 19psi. Strap on a DP (2.5"-3.0"; your pick) and proceed to make 280awhp with the assistance of the "Stage Rev" DynoFlash.
You're $500 dollars away (assuming you already have a boost gauge).

Sweet!! I also have the Buschur muffler delete pipe with the AEM Intake...had it Dynoflashed by AL and I am also producing approx 3lbs less boost. I did go from 241whp to 265whp with the 2 mods and reflash. I guess I should also get a boost controller to experience the full fury!!!

Did you try and put the stock muffler back on to see if your boost went back up?
