Yeah it is tough to have such a small battery for the winter time. I am going to do the trunk routh this summer time. it is 10 degrees outside with a 20+ mile per hour winds...Too cold to work on anything. Would it be too dificult to put your stocker back on for the winter?

my 1.5 year old mini battery died on me last winter in philly. i had to get jump started a few days in a row. bite the bullet, get a new battery, or relocate a stock sized one to the trunk.

I just moved up North and never had a problem with my mini battery until then. I bought an Optima red top and relocated it to the trunk, and so far, works great. Now I have a Nisei mini battery kit that i dont need. Maybe you should go that route as well. On another topic.... Mini battery kit for sale

The mini batteries have a horrible record. Especially if you have an alarm system or don't use your car EVERY DAY. PC680 is an expensive unit for the lifespan. Personally I will never use another mini battery unless I absolutely have to for fitment.

You can buy em at any parts store/ ebay for $20 to $30 and they have automatic shut off as not to over charge the battery. Well worth the money.
