Alright for all the ACT 6 puck owners out there I want to hear about your clutch.

Hopefully this will inform members about the clutch and whether they want it or not.

my last one started locking out after 10k miles on it, then later on it started to slip

i used to say "it'll never happen" and didn't really care about the stories of lockout until it happened to me at a road course

 

Lock out on my ACT street disc as well around 10K.

 

I have about 10k miles on my 6 puck sprung...
I rev to 8200rpm with no lock out and no issues... at about 530whp....
I've beaten the crap outa it and its still holding..

 

I have not had lock out with my 6 puck and HD pressure plate . I have 8k on clutch and drag with it.

 

40k miles
drag and street driving
locks out in 2nd gear at high rpm's 6500+
daily driver

 

just launched about an hour ago went 1-4 gears felt nice smooth no lockout! lol everyones prob different, i had gst install my clutch.

I dont care about lockout on the other 7 clutch options just this one. And if its on a 3g eclipse i could care even less.

 

Your an idiot, if you read the thread its not about eclipses. Its about ACT clutches, that includes the 6 puck.

 

Call me names if you want. This is clutch specific and will hopefully get all the details on it. So STFU quit crying.
