Clutch Slippage Question

Is there anything else that could theoretically simulate what would be a failing clutch??

I ask because well my clutch feels like its gone (1000rpm spikes before the car goes ect) But it just randomly happened, it went from perfect to suck over night! So i was wondering if maybe a improperly bled or adjusted clutch might give that feeling as it was clamping all the way . ... or anything else at all .. just trying to get all the info i can , i hate to drop $1k+ on the wrong problem!

That's how it goes, one day it just starts slipping.
Sorry. Your clutch is done.

Accelerating on the highway in top gear is a sure test of the clutch being shot. If it slips then with the gas pedal to the floor then you can bet the clutch has seen better days.
