For everyone who's clutch has died
This is a poll to see whose clutch went out on a stock vehicle and whose was a modded vehicle when it was toasted.

Thank you
My car was stock when it went out so I went with clutchmasters stage 1 for replacement got a good deal on it ended up being cheaper than the stock one and its a lot better definately recommended over stock.

I have 12k miles on stock clutch.. still holding up perfectly with 310whp. I dont do the following:
ride clutch
launch while slipping clutch
use clutch to bring engine speed back up when downshifting
I may have hijacked the thread, but I wanted to point those things out..

I don't think it matters what mods you have, it's how hard you are on it and if you launch it. I know more power equals more stress on related parts and that may contribute to premature clutch wear. I have some mods and do not launch, but someone bone stock can drag it every weekend, so the poll is kind of pointless. You should ask how many launches people have done, stock or otherwise, but that's also ambiguous. People wont admit or even realize they ride their clutch or don't rev match or they might drive in heavy bumper to bumper traffic everyday versus someone who lives in rural areas with open roads. All of this can contribute to clutch wear.

I made 430whp on my stock clutch. It never went out. I never sidestep the clutch and have only done a few mild slip launches. I had it on the car for 15,000 miles and changed it out because I had the oppertunity to put in an RPS. The stock clutch was still good too. This is even with some track days on the car.
mine is stock..went out at 10k miles...anybody know what is a good clutch to put in it...should i go to a racing clutch or something else....sorry if i stole the thread just had a question needed it answered
