o2 housing problem, please help...
It took the whole weekend but I got my maperformance o2 housing installed. Now it looks like it may be leaking from the bolt hole closest to the radiator, its tight, thought it may be wd40 but its been smoking for like twenty minutes. Any ideas would really help me out, thanks
my car smoked for a while from the dw40 but then eventually burned all off......... just keep driving and check it out in a day or so... btw did u get the external dump?? if so how do you like it

Yeah I did, honestly I don't think people give this mod enough credit. I have only drove it once and I even turned the boost down to 19 psi, but it pulls much harder and a bit quicker and sounds great. Getting started tuning so ill let you guys know if it actually makes more power or not. So you think the smoke is wd40 not exhaust?
yeah ill bet u it wd... just drive it and it should go away within a day or 2....... were u tuned with a standard aftermarket o2?? and what o2? and will u be getting retuned with just this mod? id like to see the hp diff between the 2

DId you use regular anti-seize on the threads? When I put the new exhaust on mine a few years ago it smoked for a while because I put to much on. Take it for a decent drive and then come back and check it out.

There is usually some burn off that can last for a while, do you hear any ticking coming from that area? I can't say we've ever had a problem with one of these units not sealing properly...
when i did my o2 housing i forgot to put a bolt back on the block wher the factory o2 housing bolted to and it was leaking oil onto the dp so that caused maddddd smoke...
