Ti-C muffler on Trust Ti piping?

Hello, I have the Trust/Greddy Ti rolled tip full titanium exhaust. I was wondering if the Ti-C universal muffler would fit on my Ti piping? I'm not in favor of switching out full titanium piping for some stainless steel.

My rolled tip muffler looks black and has long last the nice purple burnt finish

have you tried cleaning it? I wouldn't want to change out a ti exhaust for a non ti exhaust just because it looks black. Maybe that's just me.

me either, that's why I wanted just the Ti-C muffler which is supposed to be all titanium correct?

I've read how to clean it up and polish it, but I don't know how to re-"burn" my muffler correctly. All I remember is something about a "yellow" tip torch which no muffler tech in my area knows about.

From what I can see on my full Ti-C exhaust, the muffler itself is stainless steel but it has a bolt on tip that is Ti. If you've never seen a Ti-C muffler here goes: the body of the muffler is stainless, but it has three small bolts that hold the "tip" and silencer on. The tip is maybe 6-7 inches in length and looks to be the only Ti piece on the whole exhaust.

Yah that's what I'm saying. The TIC is just a stainless exhaust with Ti Tip only, so it would be a definite downgrade and I don't think the piping will even line up properly as they are designed differently.

You can clean the tip off and if you want to reburn the tip you can use a torch like you said. Different heat range will cause a different color, but you can always repolish it and try again if you dont like your results. You might want to PM AJ Racing a vendor on here, because they had a thread where they removed the burn off an exhaust tip for a client and had instructions on how to redo it.
