Anyone know off hand what size of coupler fits over the 80mm red intake housing? ive heard a few say its actually bigger than 80mm closer to 83mm or so. what size of coupler are you guys using to hook up an intake?

 

84MM to be exact, we have one specific for that.

Im just trying to put together a intake and i want to make sure i get the right coupler and i dont have the turbo here yet

84mm is 3.3 inches so a 3.25 coupler should fit on there

I just researched this myself for a guy. You'll need a 3.25-2.75 reducer if you're using an after market intake pipe.

I am using 3.5 inch for speed density setup. Found a nice 9 inch long 3.5 filter on e-bay. One 45 degree al. elbow. And one 45 degree silicon elbow. hole thing cost about 75 bucs. The 3.5 has no problem sqeezing down to 3.25 (84mm) . airflow meter happens to be the same size. 4 inch is over kill and is difficult to fit. 3 inch looks small to me.

 

4" shouldnt be to hard to fit, i already have a 4" air filter and piping. I dont have a MAF so im sure i can manage it easily
