Tuning SAFCII for VTA blow off
Hey just wondering if anyone knew how to tune the SAFC II to correct for a VTA blowoff. I know you can do it just not sure on exactly what to do. Any help would be awsome.
Thanks

No Such Thing, does not exist.
This has been beaten to death, DO NOT VENT INTO THE ATMOSPHERE, YOU RUN A MAS AIR FLOW SENSOR, WHEN YOU VENT INTO THE ATMOSPHERE, YOU CAR DOES NOT KNOW THAT YOU DO THAT, AND STILL DUMPS GAS BASED ON THE AIR YOU JUST VENTED, REGARDLESS OF THE SETTINGS ON THE SAFC!!!.
If you run a stand alone system that gets rid of of the MAF, then vent away.
BTW there is a way to Vent on the 300Z TT with the SAFC, but it has a different system.

blah blah blah, i hate it when members bash the way you want your car, its your car.....right? last time i checked i pay the bill on my car.....
1badevo8, don't listem to them if you want to run it, run it.....
anyway if your having problems, with stalling, i would suggest getting a spring kit, or tuning it, of course it depends on your bov.
it can be done....

The Decel feature doesn't work with a MAF sensor. So it won't work for you on the EVO. The only way is to play with it till you get it right but it won't work as well as other venting option.
Sorry for the "bad info", but on a MAS system, it is impossible to compensate for the air lost VTA with a A/F controller unless you get rid of the MAF system and go stand alone, sorry, just programed to do so.
