So for one, i want to put my stock muffler, on my aftermarket 3' piping. WOuld that defeat the purpose of the whole exhaust??

and two, i installed my boost gauge yesterday, and im just curious if everyones boost gets up this fast. Here is a link to a youtube video of my evo on the freeway going from 25% throttle to about 60-70% throttle. And I really only feel it pull hard once its reached full boost not when its building. Could this be a boost leak? LEt me know your thoughts thank you.

And btw my A/F gauge isnt hooked up haha

muffler would restrict a little bit but wouldnt defeat it that much.

boost seems fine to me.

 

were you in 5th gear? it won't seem like you're boosting or "pulling" with that gear or higher.. but it's normal.

Yes was in 5th gear, but i mean through any gear if i step on it, it kinda pulls while its building boost, but it doesnt REALLY pull until it hits full boost. So thats normal? and my turbo lag seems to be over like right at 4k, is that normal?
