Damn man......just nice. Now that I think about I have been hearing Buschurs name since my Honda days 15 years ago. To me he's a legend so having hm on here as an active participant of the forums seems so surreal. Cheers to you Dave and I hope you hit your goal....i know if you do there will be a lot of shops trying to get there or beat........it all breeds competition.

The plan is to run a DOT street tire on the car. That is the plan. I want the car to go 8's as an actual, no bull**** street car, so that requires I do it on a street tire. If it doesn't happen and seems impossible when the car comes out I'll put the 17" slicks back on it.

Car will be run at the Beaver Springs, PA event in May, Winged Warrior, IN in May, BR Sport Compact Nationals in Nowalk, Oh in May and the August DSM/EVO Shootout in Nowalk Oh. Those are the races I have on the schedule for sure so far.
As for the crash beams, worthless for any real crash and were only required/installed on USA EVO's for insurance 5 mph purposes.

dave i love the fact your gonna do it on street tires. what tires you gonna use??
also here in N.J. some guys who run street tires also give it a shot with slicks. i say you run it on the street tire. get your 8 second goal and then slap on the slicks to see how she does.
