What is this?

I was installing my updated ets intake and was surprised to see a piece with a nipple that had no line running to it. Please school me up on what this piece is, what line goes to it and where the line comes from.

It's the slave cylinder for your clutch. There's not supposed to be anything there. Maybe a rubber cap to keep junk and dirt out of it. It's the same zirc type fitting on your brake calipers. It's used to bleed your clutch line.
