The spring you get is determined by the vacuum at idle.

Yea, I replaced my VTA Tial Q and had a lot of issues with it. Once the QR was installed all those issues were alleviated. I used to have flutter if I wasn't driving in WOT ALL the time, but now, the QR holds the boost and the car runs a LOT smoother.

post your warm idle vacuum. if you dont know, post all your mods and someone will figure it out. there is some overlap with the springs, you have to be pretty far off to get surge.

well when you get one here is a spring chart. with stock cams i think the -10psi spring would work great. with cams you will need a softer one. if you are between springs, go for the softer one.

so far every company you you all have mentioned i have so this makes it even harder....darrrnn.....i really like the synapse and aps dual....i'll be running the gm 3" with iat....i currently use the ecu + wit evo scann. my subaru customers love aps and every time i get a part in from them its super quality and truley a great product...im leaning on the aps dual port....idk may be....idk damn...synapse is relatively a new product to me. i havent sold anything from them nor even looked at their products

love this brand its really hard now since some tuner shops have gone under and aps is pulling their business away...since usa tuners owes them like 3.1 million.....or some astronomical number of debt.

when I was prepping my car for an e85 tune, I had come down to 2 choices for a new BOV, the Synapse and the APS Twinvent. I looked into both and took a week or so looking into them. Both are great options, but the feature that made my decision was the size.

Living in CA...cops like to pop hoods, and I was just not comfortable installing a BOV that is larger than a soda can under the hood. IMO, it would just scream to a cop "Hey, I dont belong here!"

So needless to say I chose the APS. It is only a hair larger than the Stock IX DV, and IMO is not much louder...not sure what someone posted earlier about it sounding "JDM"? Mine is barely, if any, louder than the stock unit.

No complaints with this DV at all, i dont get any bucking or any other issues that I've seen others report about some of the other options mentioned in this thread.

Edit: The APS unit also is easily hidden underneath the stock intake scoop!
