just ask scott to verify.... it probably didnt happen, but its the only explanation i've got for that possibility off hand. He will know exactly what i am talking about. Scott is good at helping customers out so i'm sure he wont mind looking into it. Link him to this thread so you dont have to explain anything.

Speed Density rom shouldn't matter if it has a MAF inline or not, plugged in or not plugged in, it will run the same.

OP, you need to log the car and see what happens when you run with a MAF. Something is not right.

The only record of a reflash we have according to your itrader feedback is from 4 years ago?

What did you change on the car that now 4 years later you are having issues?

Kelford 272 camshafts were not available at the time of your itrader feedback rating nor was speed density an option.

Omnipower 4 and 7 bar map sensors were not available at the time of your reflash 4 years ago either so it sounds like your map sensor change has screwed up your idle.

It sounds like you shorted out your BAROMETRIC SENSOR IN THE MAF OR MAP SENSOR AT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD>

You may want to try a new ISC Motor. Idle stepper motor.

If the idle has a hard time adjusting upwards, however if the maf plugged in drops the idle then it does sound like the baro reading or wire from the maf sensor is problematic. If the car thinks the altitude is higher than normal than it can affect the idle quality. Unplugging the maf disconnects the baro input to the ECU.

Check the baro wire at the ECU as well as at the maf plug.
