Just put on the New FMIC, Have some problems

So i just put on the new Buschur LICP for the Deluxe FMIC.

Lets start with the lower intercooler piping. I bought this used, from someone on these forums. I didnt realize till after i bought it he had an evo 9. So i tried to email buschur and ask them if there was a difference in the pipe coming off the turbo. I recieved no response. So i decided tonight i would just go ahead and put it on. Everything went smooth until i put the new front mount on. The piping didnt exactly line up for the other pipe. It was hitting i think the radiator bracket on the bottom.

So i trimmed just a hair off so i could make it fit. But it was still at a pretty bad angle going to the intercooler. But anyways i just rolled with it. Put a hose clamp on each side and tightned them down. Now everything is on i started it up and felt for any leaks and nothing. So i took it around the neighborhood a couple times.

This is where i notice a wierd sound. Almost like a super charger, or a loud whistle. Not a whooshing sound. So i disreguard the sound and get into the throttle it boosts to 23psi and spikes at about 25-26. Now befor it was only boosting to 19 and spiking at 20. But i had read that this would happen. No biggie.

So my question is, it still boosts fine, but what the hell is this noise. There was a nipple on the old LICP with a hose going to what looks like the intake. But i plugged that up. I had read something about this somehwere but i cant find the thread now. Is this what the whistling sound is coming from???

And also is there any difference in the evo 8 and Evo 9 LICP for the buschur deluxe front mount??

I will try and get pictures of the LICp where it connect to the intercooler tomorrow...
