Good choice. Save some $. Most-Wanted made all his stock turbo / stock appearing turbo records on a BR ported & coated stocker.

That's what I run and you won't have to worry about anything cracking etc... the gains are so marginal IMO, the extra $ isn't worth it. Keep that $ in your wallet - get the equal length tubular once you go big turbo where it really matters.

i would not call gains of 15 to 21 whp marginal thats pretty good for the prices of tubulars. i understand the aspect of only spending 190 etc and seeing some gains. Its not all about being cheap sometimes. for somebody that can only get 91 oct etc and wants to get everybit of power they can from all there mods dumps turbulars manifold ported o2s etc dont seem like such a waste of money. but oh well does not matter its your car and your wallet spend what you feel is comfortable to your budget

I would say I agree with you. I could have stuck with a regular O2 housing, but opted for a $400+ Shearer O2 dump tube for more gain. I just didn't want to have to for out $700+ for a tubular that might crack down the line.

Future plans would be to get an ETS, Full Race or a Shearer tubular once I go non-stock appearing turbo on the Evo. In the end, yes you are correct - the owner can spend the money they have in their pocket they did it!
