transfer problem
transfer problem
after hard launch on track something snaped and than begin snaping all the time like cv joint does ,after few laps car starts slipping like clutch ,in turbo zone revs go high and transfer is snaping . we thougt it was cv joints but everything is ok there. when we disconected cv joints we found that shaft in transfer is moving and snaping from one cv joint side only. how bad things are? before i remove transfer for disassamble i have to know if this kind of breakage is rebuildable or i have to buy new transfer. i dont want to pay money twice for transfer remove because there is no options to buy it instantly here in my country , so ill have to order it from somewhere . i will be greatfull if someone can give me some useful information

it's not clutch i think , i've changed it few months ago with exedy stage 2 , gearbox works fine , car is in rolling condition at this moment , that snapping noise appears most of all when you turn wheel left or right and try to roll or stop & go , when i try to accelerate hard something starts slipping and snaping , no smell ,no other noises , and car tries to go a bit left by itselt . also i've changed transfer and gearbox oil few months ago with diaqueen oem fluids.
Front axle broke? If your transfercase blew it would probably not move or would be whining like loud. Check your trans case fluid for shavings. Check your clutch to see if something broke there first (take apart and reinstall everything).
SeeCoryRun i hope u're right , it will be good reason to buy LSD one but as i know its price is same as transfer
btw whats the average price for LSD an non-LSD front diffs?
