Help!! Problems with Exedy

So, i have an exedy twin disc.... I launched the car once and then the i was locked out of all gears... i could not put the car in first gear or any gear and drive. I adjusted the clutch pedal so it grabs high and got the car to go into gear, but still not without a fight....
its been a few months since this happened and the pedals still where i left it (high) and the car still barley goes into gear, its very hard to push the shifter into first.... does anyone know what the deal is with exedy... b/c this happened ot me last year, car went to the shop, they said i needed a new center disc... they changed it and the car was fine... now, i only launched the car ONE time and its did it all over again. Somethings not right... i drag race and neve had a clutch act this werid b4... this is the first and last exedy ill ever buy... anyone with input on what it could be or have any info, id appreciate it... new clutch is alot of money, and i cant keep dealing with this exedy locking me out after one launch!

Thanxx!

Once i started drag racing twice a week for a month that exact thing happened to me, but that was after 30,000 miles on it, after pulling the trans you could see the disks where worn to near nothing.

I'm guessing the retaining clip popped out. Do u have a clutch fork stopper or do the extra wavy ring mod?

You're banging the biscuits out of those gears. Fork stop should solve your problem.

If that was the case in this situation, the clutch would be engaged and you wouldn't be able to disengage it. This dosn't sound like the clip popped off. Seems like the pressure plate got warped.

pressure plate is brand new!!!! im so confused... it did this a year ago when i first had the car, they replaced the center disc, and the car was fine... i launched it one time and it had this problem all over again.... ive been drag racing for 6 years, i know what im doing, so i dont see how one launch messes the clutch up
