You are on a IX...

Please pay attention before you post info like this... the OP lists and VIII in his information. If you have him start gapping plugs that tight on a VIII without running meth or anything like that, he is going to be replacing plugs quite quickly, and id imagine misfiring quite a bit.

added boost doesnt mean meth... i run 28 to 30 psi all day long, but i am on a built bottom end. My plugs are gapped at .024 and i have no issues. I am running a COP though too, so that could be why. I read your mod list and it didnt say meth, which is why i commented how i did.

yea no meth here my reason for saying i gap mine at .022 was saying that they dont seem to hold up well with added boost (or meth for that matter) and that I had to replace them about every 10k miles before i decided to go with a colder plug for track use..but for stock power levels they are a decent plug...i wasnt telling the OP to gap them at that haha sorry for the misunderstanding

Alright so i went to pepboys again and the dude that gave me the spark plugs were there. I told him he might of gave me the wrong one and he admitted that he did. The new ones are bpr7eix. Or do i need the bpr7es? Yes i have a evo 8. Does those plug matters?

"Tech Tip: These plugs DO NOT come pre-gapped. We recommend purchasing the spark plug gapper tool, seen below."

Depends on what fuel and boost your running too. E85 and high boost will take a colder set of plugs.

Nope. No high boost or anything. Just basic mods.

The Bpr7eix is what you need.

Yes, just get stock plug that are pre gapped if you're not familiar with the idea. Also, when you install the plugs put some anti-sieze on the thread before installing, and torque them down to the correct specs (19ft/lbs ± 5ft/lbs ).
