Timing advance on the a 2.1 4G64

Hey guys,

After searching around it came to my attention that my timing is going to be a bit off with the 4G64 Bottom end. The deck hight of the 4G64 is a bit higher then that of the 4G63 so my timing is going to be a bit retarded. I talked to Dave Buschur and he informed me that on the stock cam gears, I can advanced a 1/2 tooth.

Question: How do you advanced a 1/2 tooth??

get adjustable cam gears and degree it. Thats the correct way to do it. ps Your deck height is 6mm taller than a 4g63

Mr. Buschur said aftermarket cam gears would not be needed. I'm wondering HOW to do it. Thanks for the input though
