megan exhaust manifold?

i have an evo 9 mr and being a full time student and trying to work and put some money into the evo at the same time i have been searching for ways to get power. i have looked into getting an exhaust manifold and i came across the megan. it is extremely cheap and i am not so sure if "you pay for what you get" when it comes to this also. any body have input on what manifold to get or is it actually just a waste with what mods i have, which are in my sig

a lot of them crack but some don't. Just port and coat the stock one is what everyone will tell you.

How much gains can be seen with a ported stock manifold, compaired to a standard unported manifold?

If you wanna go cheap, port and coat the stocker. If you really want a tubular manifold, go with a higher end brand, like Shearer, JMFab, Full-Race, ETS and last but not least, 4WS/JesseB's "Mona Lisa"(which is what i'm going to run).

These higher end manifolds will yield more power than the lower end manifolds and ported stocker, will resist cracking and have great warranties.

The ported stocker is cheap and you'll never have to worry about it cracking. You decide.

I bought my evo with a megan manifold on it and it cracked at the base of the manifold. I strongly suggest getting your stock one ported or saving your money to get a quality one. Go to tab-fabrication.com. These guys build manifolds for a good price.
