SpoolinUp DIY COP Kit installed on Evo 8

Heres what i got in the mail...this is the DIY COP kit...

I sourced my own set of coils on ebay...

First pair made...

Final pair made...

Out with the old...

In with the new...

The Coil On Plug setup makes a big difference in the responsiveness of the car...already feeling smoother idle and rpms throughout the revs...startup is faster...no more bucking at partial throttle...its a great investment!

Thanks Matt, for dealing with all my questions and emails!!!

Happy Evo...

Did your total come out cheaper than a re-made used kit?

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. What plugs are you using and what gap? Given the same boost, did you change gap?

i didnt touch any of my spark plugs...the plugs i use and always use are NGK Coppers BPR7ES...reason for this is because im currently running untuned until my tuner gets back to the midwest region...but when the time comes im sure ill widen the gap and get a good tune!
