Turbo going from a E85 to 93 oct
I have a good buddy that is selling his FP Red to me... He runs e85... I run 93 oct.. The turbo will not break or anything.. I shouldnt have any problems with the turbo right?
As long as the turbo is in good working order than you wont run into any issues. Make sure there isnt any side to side shaft play. Also of the FP Reds that fail most seem to be due to the fact that they are getting their oil from the head. Forced Performance has a fix for this with an updated oil feed line that takes it from the oil filter assembly so make sure you have this. Other than that you should be fine although personally I wouldnt run a Red on pump gas alone as they seem to shine at higher boost levels.
