We need fuel cut defensers.

All a Fuel Cut defenser does is lean the car out, just buy a SAFC and do it yourself, very dangerous too, listen to your car when it talks to you. It is cold you ge a HELOFALOT more 02 into the motor when it is 45 when it is 80 degrees out, kinda why we gain 35-45WHP with a FMIC NOS kit, immagine if you had it all the time, the colder it is, the more power you make, but the tuning line becomes thin, turn the boost down. I Just did.

UPDATE!!!

I sent my ECU to Al on Monday for him to look at. I got it back Wednesday and reintalled the ECU...Same thing was happening!!

I was like it CANT be feul cut....I took it to a local DSM place here and they rode along with me and experienced the "bucking" under WOT. They checked all the hoses and piping and everything was fine.

After some searching they found the culprit!!! My AEM Heatshield was laying up against an exposed wire on the MAF thus grounding the MAF which was causing my car to "buck"

They put some electrical tape on the exposed wire and Dremmeled out the heatshild so it would come nowhere close to the wires. It's back to pulling like a **** now

I am very glad this was in NO way due to Al or the Dynoflash. I do want to personally thank him for all the phone conversations we had and all the help he provided!! Top Notch

you guys are probably hitting fuel cut because I assume Al left the MAF map alone, and just upped the timing. If you take away some voltage the MAF sees, youll hit fuel cut later

You are wrong on ALL counts

First - we dont touch the MAF map - we re-write the ign and fuel maps without adjusting map

Second - the raise the fuel cut point to reduce the fuel cut

Third - this guy never had a fuel cut problem - his car is almost stock and has no boost controller - we just reflashed him with a higehr fuel cut as a customer service !!!!!!!

Fourth - we have a new code that eliminates fuel cut 100%

Didnt I say you left the MAF (fuel) map alone? And just touched the ignition??

And he said they re-do the ignitian and fuel maps....that is why he said you were wrong They do not fool with air temp signals from the MAF to get ride of fuel cut like the HKS FCD. In my opinion the HKS FCD is a hack job and more danger than just about any other method of removing fuel cut.

Ya know, your describing the EXACT Same problem I have with my car.. I just assumed it was fuel cut... It never occurred to me to check the MAF wiring to see if it was loose or strained.

I even removed all of the modifications except for the Turbo back exhaust and the Air filter.. Still have this problem on occasion, but not as prevelant. It still could be fuel cut, but I'm going to check the MAF connections

Hmm interesting...Did you have your ECU reflashed by Al? If so he can reflash to eliminate any sort of fuel cut. He did that with mine, even though the reflash wan not the problem. It's kinda hard have him look at my car when I am several hours away!! I'm glad it was the heat shield touching an exposed MAF wire and nothing else...I can breathe a sigh of relief
