Boost at high elevation

I recently bought a 05 Evolution with 30k on it. The car came with a manual boost controller, boost gauge, and 3" turbo back. As far as I know, those are the only modifications. Bought the car wreaked from someone who only had it for a month and he bought it from someone in Hawaii with everything already done to it.

It looks like the boost gauge peaks at about 19 PSI. I'm not sure what it should be at stock. I don't want to hurt anything and would like to have the car as stock as I can for a little while (until I get bored lol).

My elevation is about 8000ft, what should my stock boost be? Should I be worried about where it's at right now?

Thanks!

Keep the car around 19-20psi for now... I suggest pulling the map and emailing it to me so we can see whats going going tamer@4wstuning.com

Tuning is extremely important with turbo cars.. It'll make it or break it, literally!

Shoot me PM to get you going in the right direction. I have a few suggestions maintenance wise since you just purchased this car.

Cheers!
