Weird wheelspin problem

Hi folks,
Hope you can help me out with this dilemma.
I'm getting inside rear wheelspin at my local racetracks - mainly 3rd gear corners.
On exit, I get the revs rising by a couple of hundred rpm, and wheelspin for about 1sec....sorta like the behaviour of an open diff.
It's annoying as I have to then play catch-up to get the momentum back
This is running semi-slick tyres too.
Full acceleration down the straights in all gears is fine, with no slip (so I assume clutch is fine?).
I initially thought it might be cos the stock suspension was too soft, but I now have adj coilovers, and same symptoms

I drive a JDM Evo VIIIMR (so it has AYC), and the ayc operation has been checked out and seems to be fine, but is having a full bleed/flush today anyway.
I have moderate power with bpu mods, and upgraded swaybars too.

BTW - no symptoms at all on the street eg roundabouts etc.

Any ideas?
Many thanks

Hmmm - no, I don't think it is, cos I can sometimes see tyre smoke in the rear view mirror after the exit.
However, I know the Evos can be prone to picking up an inside rear wheel...but if it did, shouldn't the drive be transferred to the other wheels? (in the blink of an eye)

Stock suspension? Or do u have coils? Do u dial them I'm differently for the track? Also what kind of brakes are you using.

I've got BC coilover, but no difference in symptoms compared with old setup of Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs.
Track setup is slightly firmer, with Project Mu pads

Well if the inside tire isn't picking up all the way, it would have less resistance than the outside tire and thus spin once power is applied, and create tire smoke because it's still on the ground. Theory anyway.
