Thats not a problem but I felt at the time the OE valve was in good working order. I guess it might be hard to tell just by shaking it around and blowing air through it. The only drawback is the half hour drive for such a cheap a$$ part. I think I would be inclined to try crimping off the hose to it first. What sort of check valve did you use?

High pressure. I invested in 4 different types. Napa, Autozone, Vendor on forums and one that actually works.
I can't remember where I bought it. I spent hours online and the one I use the SRT forums. All the others I tried couldn't hold pressure created from my mouth let alone actual boost.

If I find the name i'll hit you up with it. Was only like $25shipped or so...been a couple years now.

I used the mini KrankVent. Holds over 75 psi! Not cheap, but it sure fixed the problem.

Found it!!!
Here's the one I currently use. It is a awesome unit. easy enough for the vacuum to open it up and strong enough for high levels of boost to not pass through.

Just buy the 1/4 female adapters for your application.

Thanks. I was wondering how to connect the hose to either end. I will order this asap and report back once I'm able to do another test.

Do you attach the check valve at the PCB or at the breather?

Noob question? You have almost 1400 posts. How I understand it:

PCV at valve cover>hose>check valve with 1/4 fittings on either end>hose> intake manifold.

I was not able to find them on the Grainger site but I assume by Evoryders dialogue they are to allow a hose connection.
