Hi I have a Evo 9 and I have been having a issue when I step on it hard. I get a loud pop/bang and lose power for that second, I don't know where to start troubleshooting and don't really like when that happens. My set-up is pretty much stock with a full exhaust and intake. Any help will be appreciated.

 

sounds like ignition issue. check/replace your sparkplugs and put in the right gap .022-.024 for evo 9s.
