Evo9 headgasket on an evo8

Anyone know if you can use an evo9 headgasket on an evo8? We are in a jam and I know the standard thickness is slightly different, but do the oil and coolant holes line up?

Thanks in advance!

no issue. eight gasket (1005a700) is 5 layer at .041. the nine gasket (mn155760) has three layer at .026
there may be some water whole differences but nothing to worry about

edit: now I think I have the 8/9 gaskets reversed? the 8 gasket may be the thin one?
