ams balance shaft delete

this kit has the option of a pulley eliminator for an extra 10 bucks, will this mean that i can no longer use stock belt? im assuming that there will be shorter belt route now that there is one less pulley in the equation?

The pulley for 10 dollars eliminates the stock front balance shaft sprocket which goes behind the timing belt pulley on the crank. This sprocket drives the belt which connects to the front balance shaft that will be eliminated so it is not needed.

damn you guys are quick! i just got off the phone with someone over there about this.

I want to point out to anyone who stumbles across this thread that-he also enlightened me to the fact that i will no longer need a balance belt at all!!! (aka timing belt b)

this prospect is indeed thrilling, and im looking forward to slapping this bad boy 4g63 together with this and a couple other ams goodies.

thanks again guys at ams- you really are awsome.
