Hey guys, hearing a whine out of my car after a run at the track.


I made 3 perfect runs at the track, then i staged for the 4th run, launched, felt like the clutch was slipping ( cant be, its a brand new 6 puck clutch with less that 3-4k on it) then the clutch engaged, and i was hearing a whine going down the track.
Long story short, we tore the car down to install new turbo, and a whole bunch of new parts so we took the TC off to check it out while the car is down. My mechanic, who is very very saavy, tore it open, and said everything is fine in the TC.(we cleaned it and we're gonna go ahead and send it to shep to get inspected just to make sure.) My mechanic suggested it was possibly the input shaft on the tranny. Also i've heard maybe just a change of fluid?

The whine is more speed related rather than RPM, it whine's horribly in 5th gear at about 60mph, which is what made me think it was the transfer case.
