To the people who sent out their Evo 9 turbo to be turned into a Red/Black:

How long did it take to get it back?

I sent mine out in the beginning of April and still haven't got it back yet or heard anything from them. I call every week or 2 and they say that it hasn't got back from CNC. They also told me they have to ship it out to have the CNC done to it. As much money they make their they should really invest in a CNC machine. But from what I hear that machine cost like a million dollars or something.

Any info would be helpful I have been with out my car for a while and miss it.

I heard the turnaround times were pretty long so I ended up buying one in the sales section that was slightly used. Not the info you wanted to hear just didn't want ya to feel lonely

 

just want to hear how many months it took. when you call them up they say a 3-4 weeks. it seems more like 3-4 months not weeks.

Well there's your problem. If you use a few q-tips and you can hear the difference between weeks and months on the phone

Seriously though, small shops like Forced are always under staffed and overworked. Shoot them a nice email and I'm sure you'll get a nice response.

 

i heard it takes a couple of months...now that they have the fp black they are probably swamped as hell...be patient! it will definitely be worth the wait once it arrives

 

With all the down time check everything before the install.

It took about a month and a half for me to get my red back but that was a year ago

 

Does the Red and Black use the Mistubishi OEM Cartridge CHRA?

 

I think it does. They use different wheels. I think.

But yeah I know it will be well worth the wait. I am just wondering how long it took other people out their.

Wow! Going on 4 months seems like a long time. How long can cutting both housings take anyway?
