Maxed IDC?

Well I just installed cams and I'm just trying to richen it up at this point but a huge increase in fuel through EcuFlash is not yielding a huge decrease in AFR ratios. I've richened it to about 8:1 in EcuFlash and it's hitting 14:0 IRL and that's not a good thing.

I measured my IDC and it was only peaking at 85%. Anything else it could be or is that probably what it is?

Thanks!

Are you still on the stock injectors? Post up your complete modlist puhleeze. What fuel? What turbocharger? How much boost? What fuel pump, etc., etc.? Details, details!

Yes it's still stock injectors and I have an Evo 9 and I'm always on 93. Here's the list...

ETS 3.5'' FMIC
Apex'i Power Intake
3'' TBE with Megan o2 Housing
PPI ported exhaust mani
Muse LICP, Fujita UICP, Tial 50mm BOV VTA
Walbro 255
Cosworth M3 with Kiggly valvesprings/retainers

Boost is set at about 27-28psi.

Thanks man

if you're hitting 14.0 AFR at WOT I suspect you aren't going to the limiter and because you aren't going to the limiter the IDC's at 85% are likely only being measured at low RPM. At high RPM that's going to be a higher IDC so your situation is worse than it seems.

It's time for some injectors my friend http://www.mellontuning.com/index.ph...ndex&cPath=1_9

I recommend the FIC 1050cc, with your single walbro that's enough fuel for 500+awhp on 93/race gas or 400+awhp on e85

Yea that's what I thought...I eventually got frustrated and went into EcuFlash and tuned in like 7.5:1 AFR in the WOT cells and I still was only getting about 14:0 out of it.

New injectors it is, I guess.

Thanks guys!
